A friend yesterday reminded me to look for ministry in unexpected places.

As ministers, our ministry isn’t just in our “downline” – with those “under” us, or those we work day-in, day-out to impact.

Who should you have a ministry with besides your students? Sure, you’ve got to think about time and priorities and your calling to your students. But surely God might call you to some others along the way? Faculty, staff, administration at the campus. Fellow organizational “adults” on campus, including (but not limited to) other college ministers. Even your bosses, overseers, and/or supporters.

Are you “fulfilling [that] ministry that you have a received in the Lord,” too?
