I hope that you have a community.

Not just people you talk to on occasion, not just overseers / bosses, not even just a spouse. But a group around you who know you, who challenge you spiritually and even know the ups-and-downs of your ministry. And a group made up of peers, not students (unless you’re a student). You know, a very normal intimate community, the kind we coach our students to find but which can be easy for college ministers to “go without” as they pursue their calling.

If you don’t have this, do everything you can to add it. Hopefully your church offers it and helps it happen, but even if it doesn’t, you need it.
