ready for the break: the top ten list

One little thing my church does is encourage members to keep a “Top Ten List” of individuals we are praying will come to Christ. In preparation for the Winter Break (or next summer), what if you did something like that with your students?

The purpose might be expanded (especially if the focus is students’ time at home): a list of people they want to have a spiritual conversation with, a list of those they want to encourage, etc.. Or it might be a “Top 3 List.” The point is getting students purposeful about impacting others. This list can be an aid to prayer, a reminder, and a personal accountability.

Of course, a List doesn’t have to be constructed only before a Break!
