The last couple of days, I talked about helping students prepare for their callings. Specifically in this case, I discussed those particularly called to “paid ministry,” or whatever we want to call that.

But all your students have a calling (whether they’ve identified it or not). And what they’ll need – now – is mentors. And summer is a great time to find them.

Scour the local churches (not just your own?), Christian professors and other staff, alumni from your ministry, other local Christians. Maybe you even need to look outside your city. But these weeks would be a good time to find professional mentors who will help your students live out their Christianity in each calling.
