what’s the pitch?

What “pitch” are your students giving to their friends (in real-life or online) to encourage them to check out your ministry?

Here’s an idea: Poll your students, or at least your student leaders. On paper, not in a big crowd-sourced mish-mash, because you want to know ALL the ways different students promote you to others. Simply ask them for the “basics” of how they actually describe the campus ministry to their classmates.

Once you read through what they’re saying, what constant themes emerge? Are you excited about the ways students perceive – and “sell” – your ministry? Do you get the sense that it was easy for your students to give a 2-sentence description of your campus ministry? Does it seem like they think they’re something worth advertising in the first place?
