How sure are you that you should spend time recruiting in the fall?
But what would happen if you just… didn’t? How would your ministry be affected if that effort was cut out of the budget (both the money-budget and the time-budget) this time around? Would all the effects be negatives?
How often do you consider stopping something, anything, within your college ministry? (That should probably be a regular consideration, but that’s another post for another day.) Would you ever consider stopping something that is “big,” something normally seen as fundamental or expected within your ministry?
I’m not saying you should. But I’m saying you could. There probably aren’t too many things in college ministry that are truly have-tos – and if that’s accurate, then when’s the last time you considered stopping something big?
The thought-exercise alone will be valuable!
