ivy jungle adjusts, and a chance to pray

Two updates, of sorts:

Ivy Jungle moving (and multiplying)

Kind of buried toward the bottom of the February 2009 Campus Ministry Update from Ivy Jungle was this important notice:

With the economy struggling and funding tight for many, the Ivy Jungle has decided to postpone the National College Ministry Conference until 2010.  This year, the Ivy Jungle will come to you with Regional Summits 2009.  Stay tuned for more details.

So I will definitely be staying tuned for more details. While I’m bummed about the conference missing from my year, I would highly encourage you to check out a regional event if one ends up near you. Maybe I’ll join you!

Closing in on the ebook

Second, I wanted to ask for your prayers over the next few weeks or so as I’ll (hopefully) be finishing up the “firstfruit” from the big trip. That fruit will be a medium-sized ebook highlighting why (and how) American Christians should make college ministry a priority, using the trip as the major backdrop for that exhortation. (And by “backdrop,” I mean both rhetorically and pictorially…)

I would love for you to be praying that this thing glorifies God, honors those in our field, and – to put it bluntly – works, however God sees fit. If I might play any part in stoking the flame for college ministry, I will have done what I set out to do.
