Some recent college ministry related articles and such. Have fun.

Of course it did. Crossway’s president reports that they’ve run out of the new ESV Study Bible. As I have noted before, collegiate circles contain many of the big fans of the English Standard Version translation. And now they’ve gone above-and-beyond on the long-awaited study Bible, and its remarkability is driving its popularity. I’ve seen this humongo new study Bible given as thank-you gifts to college ministry leaders (like my sister), and this would make a perfect new Bible for that college student you’re discipling.

K-Loving college ministry. Some areas of the U.S. are well familiar with K-Love, the national Christian radio station. (It receives frequent play on my own radio as I trek around the country.) They did a couple of recent segments / interviews connected to college ministry; you can find those here.

Unique alliances. Christianity Today carried a story this week about Campus Crusade chapters partnering with some unexpected (homosexual) groups for ministry purposes, as well as generally exploring new ministry forms. While the article from the Religious News Service is interesting, it seems like some parts of the article and sub-headline want you to believe these efforts are Campus Crusade-wide… even though the facts in the article seem to indicate this is happening at the chapter level. If I’m reading things rightly.
