hehe, Yea, the acronym dawned on us AFTER we were soldout on the name. I just thought it was a funny coincidence that it happened like that!

Tufo and Hannah, both of those responses seem really smart.

I'm not sure, Tufo, if y'all decided that so you'd be "BCM," but that does seem like it could help students who are looking for it! But certainly in the case of "Campus for Christ," I think that's brilliant. At the very least, I would think students would do a double-take and inquire... which is all we really need!

Thanks for the info!

In Canada, we've recognized that problem with 'Crusade' as well. About 5 years now, we've transitioned our campus ministry to Campus for Christ. Still tho, there are the branding problems from people who are looking for 'Crusade', but it is similar enough that people seem to be able to find us on campus.

Ben, as a 5-year student of BCM/BSU @ IndianaState, I can't wait for tomorrow's post...

My current ministry is called theBRIDGE college ministry (still BCM in a way, LOL).. I'm very interested in your thoughts on the non-uniform, uniform-ish system the SBC has gone to.
