The “suspenders of the Bible Belt” is a really creative way to put it! And all this time I was merely calling GR the “upper reaches of the Bible Belt”. Since you posted this from Farmington Hills, have you noticed the big differences between the east and west sides of the state? I’m originally from the Detroit area and attending Calvin and going back and forth between the two gives me whiplash.
